Hi and welcome to my little section of the website.

I'm Ash Jones and I've been a DJ since 2002, spinning the wheels of steel for crowds not just throughout the UK but also throughout Europe. Based in between Bargoed & Blackwood covering a large area of South Wales from the main cities of Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea, up to Monmouth and the Brecon Beacons.

Over the last 10 years, I have primarily been a wedding & events DJ and created some seriously awesome playlists depending on the event theme or mood in the room. 

​

Over the years I have become a bit of a music connoisseur collecting thousands of albums, singles and white labels of all styles and genres.

​

I'm a mix DJ rather than a personality DJ meaning my style of mixing is all about the blending of one track to another seamlessly without affecting the atmosphere on that dance floor. So whats a personality DJ? These DJ's rely purely on the same old failsafe party tracks and talk on the mic a lot between the transitioning of tracks. 

​

I have also done a lot of hosting, making announcements, introductions, etc. Before you ask... YES! I do have a stage voice. :-D

Another question I get asked a lot is can we send some requests or a playlist over? Of course! You are more than welcome to send a request/playlist over I love a new challenge (although my advice would me not to spend hours making lists and send just a few must-plays over, it would be a shame if your guests hate your music choice and nobody dances).

​

I like to get to know my customers a little prior to the event so I will try and arrange a meeting with yourself where we can discuss your event face to face over a tea or coffee. You can then decide if I'm the right person for your event before actually spending any money.

ADD-ONS

Dancing on the Clouds (dry ice)

​

Upgrade your first dance to a Fairytale dance. You too could be dancing on the clouds like princess aurora (just for the Disney fans). We use a dry ice machine and not a dry ice effect machine (what’s the difference?... the difference is, the Dry ice Effect machines use artificial smoke and will set off smoke alarms. Dry ice does not set off alarms). The Dry ice will cover your dance floor and give the illusion of dancing on clouds. You'll be looking back for years to come on truly stunning first dance photos.

Supplied with 10kg of dry ice that should last between 6 - 12min (depending on room temperature) perfect for first dances.

Confetti Cannons 

​

Why not start or even end your party with a bang? How a pair our confetti cannons? Creates wonderful photo opportunities for your first dance and really do deliver the wow factor! We supply white and silver confetti but if you have a special something in mind we can also supply White, Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Dark Green, Light Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Yellow & Multicolour. With the add-on we supply 2 hydrogen powered confetti shooters that can be set off at a singular point or can also be set off at separate points through the evening. Please ensure your venue will allow confetti.

Colour Lasers with Haze Machine

Reach for the lasers! With this addon, you’ll get a pair of super bright multi-colored lasers and a haze machine. Please ensure your venue will allow haze otherwise this addon won't have full effect.

Sound System Upgrade

Want ground shattering base? Well, it won't be quite ground shattering but your gonna definitely going to feel these tunes.

Breakfast + 

​

The breakfast + addon is an extension that can be booked with one of our evening disco services. Together we’ll create a playlist that means something to you to be played throughout the wedding breakfast. We will also provide quality wireless mics for speeches and master of ceremony. The DJ for the evening will arrive and set up before the wedding breakfast then change the setup in the break out (room change) for the evening reception/ evening party (this will be subtly set up in the corner and consist of a booth and speakers to blend in to the background.).

Full Day +

The Full Day + addon is an extension that can be booked with one of our evening disco services. Together we’ll create a running order personal to your ceremony (create a list of songs to be played throughout each step of the ceremony eg, guest arrival, groom arrival, walking the isle signing or register, walkout songs, etc) we’ll do a DJ set throughout the cocktail hour/drinks reception entertaining your guests while the photographers work their magic. We’ll also create a playlist that means something to you to be played throughout the wedding breakfast and will also provide quality wireless mics for speeches and master of ceremony. The DJ for the evening will arrive and set up in the morning before the wedding begins then change the setup in the break out (room change) for the evening reception/ evening party (this will be subtly set up in the corner and consist of a booth and speakers to blend into the background). 

Pricing

Don't forget, create your own package with multiple services and save between 5%-20% on advertised price.

Disco prices are based on 5 hours between 19:00 pm and 00:00 am (midnight). We travel all over and give the first 10 miles (5 miles each way) of travel free (from blackwood). The distance over 10 miles is charged at £1 per mile.

• Job sites (venues) upstairs that require extra members of staff

Payment plans are available on request for bookings over £600. A 20% booking fee (non-refundable deposit) secures your date. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the event date.
